The Smoky Mountains aren’t the only highly popular natural attraction Sevier County offers. Up in Dandridge, just a short ways away from Sevierville in Highway 66 is Douglas Dam/Douglas Lake where a majority of our water and waterside entertainment takes place. The beach is quite a ways away from the Smokies, and Douglas Dam is either the next best thing for our visitors, or even better!

The area boasts a plentiful supply of state parks, jet ski rentals, pontoon rentals, fishing boat rentals, horseback riding, seafood restaurants, and plenty more along the level of historical and cultural interest. Dandridge is also the second oldest city in Tennessee and you can bet they have much to show off there for those who want to see it.

Let’s have a quick look at some recommendations in Douglas Dam.
